š A Love Letter from a Heart in Motion

From Algorithms to Affection: Why I Love Her
"This isnāt about code. Itās about connection."
Dear reader,
I know, this isnāt my usual post. No deep dives, no frameworks, no rants about bugs that disappear the moment someone looks over your shoulder. But every now and then, life hands you a story that isnāt about code or career; itās about the heart.
So today, I write to you not as a developerā¦
ā¦but as a man in love.
The Moment I Saw Her
It was at a church event: MAP Games. It was the kind of day buzzing with activity, where names are exchanged over cheers and victories, and laughter echoes across the field.
And in the middle of it all⦠I saw her.
She wasnāt trying to stand out. But she did. In the way sunlight sneaks through tree branches, quiet, but impossible to ignore.
I wanted to speak to her. I really did. But words, which I usually wield easily, betrayed me that day. I followed at a respectful distance as she walked with her friend toward the gate, hoping for a moment, a glance, a nudge from fate.
That moment never came.
And that night, sleep didnāt either.
Still, something in me knew⦠this story wasnāt over.
And it wasnāt.
Why I Love Her
A letter I will never stop writing
My love,
You are fierce. Not in volume or drama, but in presence. You carry strength like still water, calm, clear, and quietly powerful. You donāt need to announce yourself; your spirit speaks louder than words ever could.
You are kind. Not the surface kind that comes and goes, but the steady kind. The kind that remembers small details, notices when others canāt speak, and shows up not just when itās easy, but especially when itās hard. You love with intention.
You are beautiful. Undeniably, breathtakingly so. But itās the kind of beauty that begins on the inside and rises to the surface. Itās in your laughter. Your stillness. The way your eyes hold stories. I look at you and think, surely, I must be dreaming.
You are curious. You dive into conversations like oceans deep and eager. You listen when I ramble about far-off ideas, and not only listen but lean in, add your own colours to the canvas. You make the world feel more interesting simply by being in it.
You bring order. Where there is noise, you create rhythm. Where there is clutter, you bring calm. Itās not just about plans or schedules, itās the way you make people feel held, even when life feels a little messy.
You balance me. Where I am clouds, you are sky. Where I float, you anchor. We meet in the middle like a song and its melody, distinct, yet made for each other. Some say weāve started to look alike. Maybe love does that: blurs the lines until two become one.
And above all⦠You love God. Deeply. Your faith isnāt just something you speak, itās something you live. I see it in your patience, your joy, your quiet strength. And through your walk, mine has grown steadier too.
Youāve taught me how to love,
but more importantly, how to be loved.
And that⦠is everything.
To You, Reading This
I know this isnāt the kind of post you came here for. Maybe you expected thoughts on architecture, design patterns, or side projects. But today, I just wanted to share something real, something human.
Because love is the most beautiful thing Iāve ever stumbled into.
And somehow, this time, I didnāt miss my moment.
Thanks for reading,
Astrocoder
